About the internship
This is a 8 week Internship opportunity for psychology students of all levels.
The training will be provided offline at Offbeat Psychology 's office at Tagore Park Kolkata. The internship is offered in Art Therapy as a form of psychotherapy.
A total of 14 Techniques of Art Therapy will be covered in the internship with practical experience and application of all techniques.
The students will be allotted 2 clients to conduct art therapy sessions.
The students will submit the report to the concerned person of the organization.
The following Modules will be covered with practical training on all techniques of art therapy-
*Introduction to Art Therapy (Definitions, benefits , history, qualities of an effective art therapist, etc.)
*Basic Psychological Theories (in relation to art therapy)
*Techniques and Activities of art therapy (free drawing technique, digital art Technique, guided imagery, art journaling, body tracing, story telling, collage making, group art therapy, emotional scale drawing etc.)
*Interpretation of Art work( including color interpretation)
*Procedure to conduct art therapy with different types of clients
*Report writing in art therapy
*Case studies
